Narcotic Detection K-9's
Iron Heart currently has a number of fully trained Narcotic Detection K-9's available. The cost of the K-9 includes the full handlers course. Iron Heart Narcotic Detection K-9's are trained to detect the following:

• Marijuana
• Hashish
• Powder Cocaine
• Crack Cocaine
• Heroin
• Methamphetamine

Our K-9's can be trained for active or passive alert response. The canine is also obedience trained. The handlers receive training in the following techniques:

• Proper leash correction
• Scent and how Scent works
• Air Currents
• Definitions and drives
• Court Testimony
• Self discovery
• Vehicles
• Buildings
• Luggage
• Leash Handling
• Behavior Change
• Alert and response to odor

The above is hands on training. The handler must pass a written and certification test. This is an on site training for the handler and canine for two weeks. The following breeds are used:

• Labradors
• Golden Retrievers
• Chesapeake Bay Retrievers
• Beagles

All Iron Heart K-9's come with a full 5 year warranty on training. 60 days on health. 2 Years on hips. If you ever experience a training problem simply bring your K-9 to our facility and we will fix the problem free of charge. Iron Heart - We get RESULTS!
